Music

I began teaching harp, tin-whistle and flute at Croagh School of Music in 2014. Since then I have taught harp workshops for adults, young people and third level students, led the harp programme at Music Generation Clare and taught school music programmes with Music Generation Limerick County. I trained as a TAP (teacher artist partnership) artist in 2022 at the Education Centre, Tralee, and also completed Arts in Schools projects in music, radio and sound art.

In 2023 I was invited by the Orff Association of Finland to teach at their International Music Village for certified Orff music teachers. My educational approach focuses on composition and expression, cross-arts practices and creative approaches to the tradition. I have worked with students of all ages and abilities to compose and record songs and instrumental pieces.

In 2022 I completed Teacher Artist Partnership training at the Education Centre, Tralee. I am available for TAP and BLAST residencies in Limerick and Kerry.
