2026 Fulbright Fellowship at the University of Colorado, Boulder

Below are two extracts from my live performances at the university that explore the role of the fieldworker and how machines can make present the moment of capture.

This research brought my work as a composer and sound artist into conversation with a cartographical approach called deep mapping. I carried this sonic deep mapping approach to my homeplace, Kildimo-Pallaskenry, a commuter village on the banks of the Shannon Estuary in Ireland and focused my research on reintroducing music, story, sound and imagination to representations of this place.
